For us, the description ‘DCC READY’ means the ability to just unplug a small ‘blanking chip’ from an easily accessible socket and then plug in your own chip.

It’s as easy as that. No soldering - No trouble – No area for mistakes – and NO FUSS.

  “PLUG -n- PLAY” - just like it’s supposed to be!  

We believe that customers shouldn’t have to solder chips to their engines. But, for those customers that want to have a more varied choice of DCC chip, the printed circuit board upon which our ‘DCC READY’ socket sits, has strategic solder tabs that customers can use to solder their chip as needed, following the wiring diagram easily accessible from our web site. #
