A total of 98 Class 33’s were originally built and bore the numbers D6500 – D6597. The Class was affectionately known as ‘Cromptons’ after the Crompton Parkinson electrical equipment installed in them. They shared many features with their lesser powered sisters the Class 26 and Class 27. In all 26 examples of the class 33 survive into preservation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDapol has modelled both the 33\/0 and the 33\/1.
