BP Tanker Wagon. Great kit to make with very little flash considering the age of the moulds. Easy to build having put together a few Dapol kits recently. I liked the supplied steel wheels and decided to fit those rather than the kit plastic ones. The instructions could do with some modernising with clearer drawings where the parts fit.

The last one of these that I had was built for me in around 1964 by my dad! Nothing has changed on the new one save for metal wheels and tension lock couplings being included which makes them much more usable. When these were new they must have been rated as "super detailed" by comparison with the ready to run stuff available. Now, at about 60 years old they they are still pretty reasonable, but for the price they are stonking value for money.
