I was a bit disappointed that the socket for the lights was so flimsy. When trying to push the lights plug into the socket, yes I bent it and it broke off. I think dapol lighting is all very difficult and is easily damaged by simply trying to install a dcc chip. The leads are too short and easily damaged. The socket on the circuit board is only held in place by the soldered connections with no o the support. Yes, my fault maybe, but not helped by the design.

The part was missing several items (connector, one set of lights, blanking plug). To be honest I was disappointed whoever packed the part didn't spot that. Dealing with issue took a while as the key person was away but once someone dealt with it I was happy with the way resolving the defective part was dealt with
