The Dapol Class 88 is a superb model and along with the class 68, is one of my favourite 00 models. I purchased the spare bodies to give me more running number options. Please note the replacement bodies do not have the pantograph motor or the cab lights fitted. They do however have the top headlights fitted.
I previously purchased spare class 68 bodies, and these came in a cardboard box with a protective ice-cube type plastic packaging inside, which provides very good storage for the body. Unfortunately the class 88 bodies did not have any protective packaging to store them in. They were well wrapped in bubble wrap for posting and arrived undamaged, however this is not suitable for long term storage with my other rolling stock. Please can you supply better packaging (like you used on the class 68 bodies). I would have been happy to pay a little more for having something robust to keep them in.
