It's a beautiful model and runs very well. I'm very pleased with it.
...offer price.
I wanted a small single unit passenger car. The Class121 meets that brief. Whilst I never truly knew the small yellow panel livery it remains a livery that appeals. The model arrived in a LARGE outer box filled with a good deal of packing. Inside which was the retail display box.
Lifting the lid revealed the model bolted to its travel plinth, snuggley clasped by the moulded foam liner. A couple of extra bags contained small parts for the new owner to add. One thing I enjoy about O-guage is the level of detail and overall presence demonstrated by the models in this scale. Dapol are to be congratulated with making an entry into the scale more affordable.
Occasional offers on models helps the set-up of a modest collection of 'locomotives'. With legacy rolling stock also available from Dapol suiting those of us that operate micro layouts based around the various affordably priced models and small 0-4-0 locomotives in the company's product list.
