This is a truly excellent model kit with fine details. One observation would be the instructions, it would be better if they were a fair bit bigger.

I've lost count of the number of these I've built over the last 40-odd years! The most recent has been for a small diorama layout I'm working on and, even though the tooling seems to be starting to wear a bit, it's still a cracking little kit with loads of scope for modification and extra detailing.

An excellent kit: I have turned the basic Pug into many different things - a narrow gauge engine, a fireless loco, an 0-6-0 stra burner... the possibilities are endless. Looks good from the box or with added details.

Years ago, I converted one to OO9 with an 0-6-0 chassis. It looked and did the part. I will be making more when I build my next 009 layout. I am looking forward to it.

Very fun to put together, great potential for free-lance modifications.
