After a delay of a few months here is the first look at our Britannia model.

Although this is a hand built plastic model (not from the tooling) produced by the toolmaker to check tollerances etc for the coming plastic tooling which is currently underway.

This model will set the highest standard yet in innovation and technology seen in British N gauge ready to run.

DCC READY with 6 pin NEM651 decoder socket.

See-through darkened RP25.72 wheel sets.

7.4mm back to back measurement.

squared off axle ends to allow for perfect quartering.

NEM coupling sockets.

All metal gearbox housing for added weight and quiter mechanism.

Tractions tyres on each rear driver.

Embedded nut within each wheel to allow for ease of replacement traction tyre

if needed.

Pin point trender wheels for low friction.

Water scoop moulded.

'Super Creep' Skew wound 5 pole motor.

Super close coupling between cab and tender (see picture).

30:1 gearing for quieter mechanism.

Alternate drive shaft and loco to tender coupling for lerger radius curves.

Permanent hard wired spring power transfer between loco and tender.

Phosphor bronze self lubricating axle bushes for less friction.

Self contained gear system and keeper plate.

Accessory pack including air pipes, coupling chains, 'knuckle couplers' and 2 replacement traction tyres.
