Representatives from the Royal British Legion returned to Dapol yesterday (02/06/2026) to present Dapol with a certificate of appreciation for all the money that was raised on their behalf by the modelling community.

Whilst it may say Dapol on the Certificate we felt it important to let you know that we consider this to be an community award not just our award. To this end we are sharing images of the certificate and the supporting paperwork with you below.

We would like to sign off by reiterating our own thanks to all the modellers out there for your continuing support when we try to help the various charities we are involved with.

Representatives from the Royal British Legion visited Dapol yesterday (12/11/2025) to accept the generous donation raised by modelers across the country through the sale of our VE & VJ Day wagons in N, OO, and O Gauge.  

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every one of you for your kindness in purchasing these models. Several of our staff members have either served in the Armed Forces themselves or have close family members who have, making this cause truly meaningful to us. 

Together, we raised an impressive total of £11,025.50
