VJ Day commemorative wagons in all three gauges
Firstly, we would like to thank you all for the generosity you have shown helping us raise money for the Royal British Legion, the response has been fantastic. When we launched the initial batch of VE Day wagons we received many requests for a wagon commemorating the efforts of of the Merchant Navy in the war, which we were more than happy to do.
As we are sure you will be aware the 15th August 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of VJ Day and the end of hostilities in the far East. On the back of multiple requests to commemorate this occasion and to continue helping support an organization that does so much for our nations greatest we are proud to announce the launch of a range of commemorative VJ Day wagons.
Each of the three military services will be represented with their own wagon in each of the three scales in which Dapol make models. A donation will be made by Dapol to the Royal British Legion for each model sold. Please make sure your preferred Dapol stockiest has pre-ordered your wagon(s) by the 15th June 2025.

Project Update
Decorated samples and artworks have been prepared and are currently under review. the factory have these models scheduled to be in shops at the end of July and with modelers in time for the 80th anniversary of VJ Day.
Dapol will be making a donation to the Royal British Legion for each and every VJ Day commemorative wagon we sell.
